Sarah Gauthier, vocalist, is Basin Street’s luckiest find and newest member. Sarah is a native of Carencro, Louisiana with over 20 years in theatre and music. Sarah teaches theatre in the Louisiana Public School System Gifted Program and owns/operates Theatre Acadie. Sarah has written, directed, and acted in several plays and musicals across the U.S., and performed with Blue-Eyed Doll, and Ask for Ashley. Second only to Sarah’s love for her three amazing kids, is her love for music and the performing arts. Behind Sarah’s beautiful voice and beautiful smile, you can see a passionate, confident, and powerful touch of rock-n-roll inside a mountain of soulful vocal style that is sure to have you smiling back!

Tony Broussard, vocalist/saxophonist, from Cankton, Louisiana, is the founding member of Basin Street. Tony
is a 40 year veteran of the music industry. He started performing at a very young age with friends and family.
His musical journey has crossed many diverse music genres, performing and/or recording with country artist Joe Douglass, Swamp Pop legend Johnny Allen, Boogaloo, and many others. He has performed at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Louisiana World's Fair, Festivals L' Acadian, Festivals International, and countless others. Tony's love for music is plain to see in every performance. In a recent radio interview, Tony was asked about his musical philosophy: “It’s all about the groove, that’s the magic”.
One thing is certain… Basin Street definitely has the Magic!

Dudley Fruge, Drums and vocals, from Iowa, Louisiana, and the youngest from the musical Fruge’ family of Lake Charles. Dudley has toured extensively in the U.S., Canada, and major markets in Europe. Dudley has recorded and/or performed with artists; Zachary Richard, Sonny Landreth, Jerry LaCroix, Wayne Toups, Evangeline, Michael Juan Nunez, and while the drummer for Roddie Romero & The Hub City All-Stars, was Grammy Nominated in 2007. Dudley has been on two summer tours with Jimmy Buffet, and has twice graced the stages of NBC’s “Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson, and Jay Leno. You can see in every performance of this funky drummer, his love of the groove, love for music, and his gratification of creating music with his colleagues, family, and friends.

Jimmy Hebert, bass and vocals, was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He has performed over 40 years in the music industry. Like his other band mates, Jimmy’s music career has crossed many musical genres performing and/or recording with artists like; Zachary Richard, Hunter Hayes, Richard Lebouef, Kevin Naquin, and the band Boogaloo to name a few. Jimmy has performed at many major festivals across the U.S. and Canada. Jimmy has a reputation of being someone you can always count on to be there and be on time. And his solid and soulful bass playing is certainly no different

Ronnie Fruge’, a singer/songwriter/guitarist raised in Iowa, Louisiana, and the patriarch of the musical Fruge’ family of Lake Charles. Whether performing solo/acoustic, or leading a full band, Ronnie Fruge has spent a lifetime entertaining audiences across the U.S.. He has recorded and/or performed with great artists like; Alex Harvey, Zachary Richard, Doug Kershaw, Jo-El Sonnier, Jimmy Hall, and Russel Smith to name a few. Ronnie’s extraordinary heartfelt and soulful guitar and vocal styles are sure to leave you holding your loved one close, and wanting to shake your tail feather

Tommy Shreve, guitar and vocals, is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is a veteran with 50+ years in the music industry. He has performed and/or recorded with artists; Wayne Toups, Zachary Richard, Sonny Landreth, G.G. Shinn, Warren Storm, T.K. Hulin, Red Beans & Rice Revue, Rockin Sidney, Doug Kershaw, and many others. Tommy has been on over a dozen international tours, two appearances on NBC’s Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, a Jimmy Buffet Summer Tour, and countless festival and club dates nationwide. This gunslinging guitarist is one you don’t want to miss.
